Engr (Rev) Peter Okoye

Executive Chairman

Engr (Rev) Peter Okoye is the Executive Chairman of Equip & Environmental Services Limited. He holds a Higher National Diploma in Civil Engineering from Yaba College of Technology, Lagos, graduating in 1975. A registered professional engineer, he brings over 32 years of experience in Nigeria’s construction and engineering sectors.

Before joining EQUIP, he retired as Chief Highway Engineer with the Federal Ministry of Works & Housing. His technical expertise and leadership have earned him senior roles across major infrastructure and engineering projects nationwide.

Amb Nick Chinonso Okoye

Managing Director/CEO

Amb. Nick Chinonso Okoye is the Managing Director and CEO of Equip & Environmental Services Limited. A technopreneur and economist, he has over 20 years of practical experience in marketing, project management, strategic development, and corporate administration.

Before leading EQUIP, he held roles with the Federal Ministry of Works, Hyundai Heavy Industries Limited, and Net-Work Oil & Gas Limited.

As MD/CEO, he oversees the company’s growth strategy, ensuring EQUIP remains a trusted partner for equipment supply and engineering services. Under his leadership, the company operates as an integrated, technology-driven, one-stop provider of sales, service, and support. His focus on human capital development and operational efficiency has positioned EQUIP to deliver world-class service to clients across Nigeria and West Africa.

Amb. Okoye also serves as CEO of Port Equipment & Cargo Handling Co Limited, Petro-Maritime Group and i-Tec Computers Group (i-Tec).

Mr Onyeka Obi

Head of Administration and Finance

Mr Onyeka Obi directs the administrative, financial and compliance functions at Equip & Environmental Services Limited. He brings over 10 years of experience in corporate finance, operational administration and project controls within Nigeria’s construction and equipment sector.

Core Competencies Include:

Financial Management: Budget planning, cash flow management, financial reporting, internal controls, ERP/ accounting system implementation.

Administration: Corporate governance, policy development, HR & recruitment, procurement management, regulatory compliance.

Project Oversight: Cost control, work evaluation, site audits, quality & safety management.

In his role, he has establish the company’s financial policies, led ERP implementation, manages banking relationships, and oversees recruitment of key technical and administrative personnel. His dual strength in finance and operations ensures projects are delivered on budget with full audit compliance.

He has completed advanced training in financial management, taxation, and corporate administration through local and international programs to align EQUIP’s systems with global best practices.

Barrister Franklin Aliuna

Company’s Secretary and Legal Adviser

Barrister Franklin Aliuna serves as Company Secretary and Legal Adviser to the board of Equip & Environmental Services Limited. In this role, he provides legal and corporate governance support to the Board and management. His responsibilities include advising on contracts and compliance, managing statutory documentation, and coordinating the company’s legal and regulatory obligations.

Barr. Aliuna brings a strong background in corporate and commercial law, supporting EQUIP’s growth with sound legal guidance and governance oversight.
